This includes our hometowns of Kelowna, Vernon, Penticton etc. To ensure your home doesn’t get overrun by these varmints, BugMaster offers an inclusive baiting and monitoring system. This system allows us to monitor your bait stations periodically, as opposed to daily when traditional spring trap methods are used. The Norway rat and roof rat are the two most common rat species in Kelowna’s city centre, while deer mice, field mice, and house mice are prevalent throughout the valley. Deer mice in particular are a serious health concern in the Okanagan — they are known carriers of Hantavirus, which can be transmitted through contact with their droppings or urine.
